Okta relocated its headquarters to 100 First Street, expanding its workplace to span 10 floors over 210,000 square-feet. Okta’s brand is clean and timeless, and it represents the idea of it being “always on.” I led the experiential graphics team for this project which was a collaboration of many architects, designers, project managers, and engineers. My team created timeless brand experiences throughout the 10 floors of Okta’s new headquarters.
Initial sketches for lobby concept
From rough sketches, plans, elevations, renderings, to full production, our team was dedicated in delivering Okta a unique brand experience.
The Okta logo was subtly infused with architectural design elements.
Created over a dozen unique art installations which helped express Okta’s brand throughout the multi-story headquarters office.
Isometric studies of installations
Art installations based on each floor’s theme reinforces the brand and Okta’s values, while helping with wayfinding through color and engagement.
Just outside the all-employee room, a vista of the Okta logo can be seen when standing from one point. We used multiple colors in this installation to represent the color themes from all the floors of the building, intended to represent and celebrate Okta’s diverse, multi-disciplinary, and vibrant team.
Brick & Beam sign was designed with a back-channeled illuminated aged metal plate with CNC-routed letters.
The cafe name “Higher Grounds” was created into an environmental graphic made of particle board and echoed the same angles created by the architectural elements of the interior design.
Our design team “deconstructed” the Okta logo into a continued art installation piece. The mixed media installation of various materials and colors represents Okta’s commitment to diversity.
